I am truly grateful to Anne Livingston and Michelle my neighbors/friends who spearheaded the Nepal earthquake relief aid supply drive initiative from start to completion. Our children grew up together since they were 4 years old and went to the same schools and the children are together at Murchison Middle School today. Anne and Michelle reached out and asked me what they could take off my plate and how they could help.
They reached out to Murchison Middle School 8th grade Algebra teacher Ms. Mary Pydyn who immediately agreed to help. Together they were able to get the Murchison National Junior Honor Society and all the students, teachers, parents, involved in donating to the ArunasNepalRelief, Inc. Nepal earthquake relief supply drive. Thank you Mr. Grant Hennig for making the announcements each day for a full week to encourage this initiative. We can’t thank you all enough!
We thank all the parents, teachers, students of Murchison Middle School for coming together and filling a big giant suitcase with supplies! Without you all this would not have been possible! Together you have made a difference and the people of Nepal earthquake victims will be very grateful.
Total items donated:
4,531 antibacterial wipes, 2,400 water purification tablets, 1,062 face masks, 548 mosquito repellent wipes, 307 rain ponchos, 197 emergency blankets, 50 gloves, 10 mosquito repellent bands
With my dear friends, Anne and Michelle who organized the Nepal earthquake relief aid supply drive at Murchison Middle School and brought them all to me today! Thank you and love ya both!
We will get the supplies to the needy directly next week as my son and I will fly to Nepal and meet with our grassroots organization who will help us deliver!
